The e-mail subject line read: “And the Winner Is…” and the contents revealed that, thanks to you, (and the tens of thousands of readers who joined with you), “Cinema Toast” was selected as one of the Top 5 Blogs on the Petaluma 360 website.

It’s not a local event either. I’ve received hundreds of “hits” from Canada, Australia, South Africa, and the British Isles, (a couple of these were from Danny Huston’s agent in London making sure I had the Director turned Actor’s movie credits correct). And there is some logic to showing up on websites in English-speaking countries, but my most popular foreign readers live in France (or at least have “fr” on their address). I couldn’t figure this out until someone suggested that the word “cinema” is a commonly used French term for movies.
